Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensuring food safety and quality
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Trimming and cutting meat
  • Perform/supporting roles in meat Fabrication 
  • Assist Machine Operators
  • Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, packing, pushing, pulling and lifting product weighing 20lbs - 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Working with raw meat particularly Beef products
  • Ability to work in temperature controlled environments (Hot/Cold 0-4 Celsius)
  • Cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be currently legal to work in Canada
  • Must be comfortable with cutting, picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing and packing raw meat (beef)
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift meat products weighing up to 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to work in cold (0-4 Celsius) or Hot temperature controlled environments
  • Must be comfortable working with knives and hooks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food processing production experience
