Through our BakeFaceโ„ข brand private-label partnerships, we supply a broad portfolio of Honestly Freshโ„ข baked goods to retailers nationwide.

We are hiring in our packing department and are offering weekly pay starting from $13.00 per hour up to $15.00 per hour based on position! Our packers are responsible for ensuring our products are carefully packaged within the daily specified timeframes and ready for delivery. This role involves inspecting doughnuts for quality, working closely with the production team to meet daily packing goals and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety standards are essential. The following are job roles in this department:

Packer 220:

  • Pack 220 slots on the trays within the daily specified timeframe.
  • Packing Station Layout: Use the correct packing station layout.โ€ฏ
  • Route Tags: Use route tags and validate invoice numbers (route, rack, slot, page).โ€ฏ
  • Packing Accuracy: Ensure packing accuracy to eliminate shorts and extras. Work to reduce or eliminate waste.โ€ฏ
  • Assist with packing products into cups and 6 and 4 packs during earlier shifts.
  • Support condensing and organizing finished products for efficient storage and distribution.
  • Clean up the packing station and take the dishes to the washroom.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.

Packer 320:

  • Pack 320 slots on the trays within a specified timeframe.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a commercial bakery or similar environment is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work any day of the week, including weekends (schedule is subject to change).
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work on a daily basis.
  • Ability to learn and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ability to provide slip-resistant shoes upon hire.
  • Authorization to work in the US (must provide proper documentation).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to periodically lift and move up to40lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for handling doughnuts and packaging materials.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach as necessary during the packing process.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
