Embracing Service, Inspiring Innovation, Promoting Teamwork, Pursuing Excellence, and Advancing Equity The role supports regional staff with benefit issuance issues, contributes to system enhancements, ensurance compliance with food guidelines, and contributes to nutrition training. The position requires strong knowledge of nutrition services platform, including South Carolina Women, Infants, and Children (SCWIC), Electronic Payment Processing and Information Control (EPPIC) and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) mobile app.

* Serve as the Nutrition Service Unit technical support with extensive knowledge and skills in SCWIC, EPPIC, WIC mobile app, and food packages. -Assist regional staff with benefit issuance problems and/or Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) errors and/or footprint tickets that specifically deals with SCWIC, WIC mobile app, and food package. -Test system enhancements that involve Nutrition Service Unit (NSU) (food package, breastfeeding, nutrition education, and mobile app updates) to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and report system issues and recommend improvements. Attends weekly SCWIC Production Support calls. -Review and evaluate food submissions to determine compliance with the WIC program guidelines and eligibility requirements and assist the State Food Package Coordinator by assisting with food package management, updates, and policy alignment.

* Serves as a subject matter expert for the SCWIC and is the overall backup for the nutrition module for clinical staff, assisting staff with functional updates and system navigation. a.) Develop tools to support data integrity and train local agency staff of Management Information System (MIS) data and deliver training to staff on nutrition and/or system changes, updates, and new functionalities as needed. Must be a member of the Material Review Committee

* Analyze redemption data and report findings. Develop participant and staff resources to improve redemption as needed. * Survey participants annually on the acceptance of authorized foods and satisfaction with the WIC program services.

* Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned, including required travel if requested, and responds as directed during emergencies which may occur outside normal work hours, and travel if requested. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, public health, family and consumer sciences, health education or related degree with emphasis on nutrition. Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with SCWIC, knowledge of food package regulations and nutritional guidelines, experience working with SCWIC mobile applications and digital education tools.
