Location : Cheese Factory

Pay Rate : $18 - $21 per hour

Job Description : Express Employment in Platteville, WI has partnered with local businesses to search for candidates to fill Packaging/Production worker positions. This is a FULL TIME eval to hire position. As a Packaging Worker or Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production and packaging of high-quality cheese products. Your work will ensure that products are properly packaged and meet safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Packaging Workers :
  • Package cheese products into boxes, containers, or other packaging materials.
  • Ensure that packaging is secure and meets quality standards.
  • Label products with necessary information (e.g., expiry date, batch number).
  • Inspect finished products for defects and remove any damaged goods.
  • Operate packaging machinery and maintain proper settings.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the packaging area.
  • Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Production Workers :
  • Assist in the cheese production process by preparing ingredients and operating machinery.
  • Monitor production lines and ensure smooth operation.
  • Handle raw materials (e.g., milk, enzymes) according to factory procedures.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure product safety.
  • Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Package finished products and ensure correct labeling and storage.
  • Perform quality checks on cheese products at various stages of production.

Requirements :
