Job description

About the Role

As a Marketing Operations Manager, you'll take a leadership role in architecting, integrating, and optimizing the marketing technology ecosystems that drive digital transformation for our global clients. Working alongside strategists, designers, developers, and senior client stakeholders, you will act as a lead solutions architect and technical advisor, ensuring scalable data infrastructure, ecosystem health, and advanced marketing automation.

This is a senior individual contributor role ideal for a systems thinker who excels at solving complex business problems through technology, data strategy, and modern marketing operations. You will champion the bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution, taking ownership of end-to-end MarTech solutions and guiding clients through complex platform choices.

To succeed, you'll bring a deep understanding of enterprise data structures, multi-platform integrations, and digital marketing ecosystems, along with a passion for advisory and problem-solving. You should be highly comfortable managing senior client relationships in a fast-paced consulting environment, designing multi-platform workflows, and turning macro business goals into high-performing, automated engines.

What You'll Do

  • Solutions Architecture: Lead platform evaluations, map cross-platform solution architecture, and deliver strategic technology recommendations tailored to client business needs.
  • Ecosystem Governance: Define and oversee data mapping, schema design, and synchronization strategies between core enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, CDP, and marketing automation tools) to ensure a robust source of truth.
  • Journey & Lifecycle Design: Architect advanced campaign workflows, automated lead lifecycle processes, multi-touch customer journeys, and complex audience segmentation strategies.
  • Technical Advisory: Act as the primary subject matter expert for internal product teams and enterprise clients, translating complex marketing strategies into scalable, technical blueprints.
  • System Integration Oversight: Oversee the technical connectivity, API workflows, and webhooks across the marketing stack, serving as the senior tier for troubleshooting data sync issues and tracking discrepancies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Establish framework standards for system audits, database hygiene, user governance, and strict compliance with global data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA/CASL).
  • Performance Optimization: Design advanced marketing attribution models, analyze ecosystem performance data, and recommend clear opportunities for ongoing structural or campaign optimization.
  • Trend & AI Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging MarTech platforms, enterprise software updates, and AI capabilities, proactively bringing innovative solutions to client engagements.
  • Process Documentation: Author and maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams, operational runbooks, and technical training frameworks for enterprise-level end-users.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology, CRM Consulting, Digital Analytics, or Solutions Architecture.
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying solutions across one or more enterprise marketing suites, with deep familiarity across platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Iterable, Bloomreach, or Segment.
  • Extensive experience working directly with enterprise clients, managing business stakeholders, and presenting technical recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, lifecycle automation, data models, customer journey mapping, and advanced multi-touch attribution.
  • Strong familiarity with relational databases, data schemas, webhooks, and APIs; hands-on experience with SQL or data transformation tools is a significant asset.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics and BI tools (such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI) to drive operational insights.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic communication skills, with a proven ability to independently manage the technical delivery of multiple complex projects concurrently.

Perks and Benefits

  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness Benefits Package
  • Socials, Outings & Retreats
  • Retirement Planning
  • Parental Leave Program
  • Annual tech & travel allowance
  • Culture of Learning & Development
  • Flexible Working Hours
