Job Title: Packaging Line WorkerJob Description

The Packaging Line Worker operates automated and semi-automated equipment to fill, label, and package a variety of products, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to standard operating procedures. This role involves working on a production line to prepare syringes, containers, and bags for shipment, while maintaining organized work areas and supporting overall manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately fill material products into syringes of various sizes according to established procedures.
  • Carefully insert pistons into syringes while avoiding trapped air and ensuring product quality.
  • Operate automated and semi-automated machinery that fills and labels packaging.
  • Print labels with correct product and batch information and apply them neatly to packaging.
  • Accurately count parts and seal them in bags in accordance with production requirements.
  • Maintain local inventory of parts used in the department and notify appropriate personnel of low stock.
  • Pack finished items into boxes and deliver them to the shipping department in a timely manner.
  • Fill powder and liquid products into containers and securely apply caps.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the employee manual.
  • Take direction from lead personnel and follow instructions to meet production goals.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the shift.
  • Perform weekly area cleaning, including washing work surfaces and occasionally mopping floors.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
