Job description

SCA Pharma is an FDA 503B outsourcing facility providing customized medications for hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. Summary:
The Labeling and Packing Associate is responsible for labeling, and packaging finished goods upon the batch products exiting the clean room to ensure timely shipping of orders and ensuring only the safest products reach our customers.
This is a second shift position: 3:30PM - 12:00AM
Essential functions:
  • Receive batches from the clean room to be inspected.
  • Review the batch records accompanying each batch and count each product to ensure accuracy of count.
  • Label each product appropriately according to the batch record for each order.
  • Package products utilizing heat sealing machine according to the batch record/SOP.
  • Move products to and from the inspection line.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to keep large batches of products organized.
  • Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team.
  • Ability to understand and follow procedures.
  • Must be able to regularly move and manipulate objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE.
