The Graphic Designer, Trims & Packaging is responsible for executing detailed, production-ready design across garment trims, packaging, labeling, and branded product materials. This role supports the development of elevated brand touchpoints across physical product applications, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and a high standard of execution across all components.

This position requires a highly detail-oriented designer with advanced typography and layout skills, strong technical knowledge of production specifications, and the ability to manage high-volume asset development across multiple product categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop trims, packaging, care labels, hangtags, stickers, woven labels, boxes, inserts, and branded product materials
  • Execute detailed, production-ready files across physical product applications while maintaining brand consistency and accuracy
  • Manage typography-heavy layouts, technical information, garment labeling requirements, and packaging systems across multiple categories
  • Ensure all artwork, dielines, measurements, and production specifications are accurate and vendor-ready
  • Work collaboratively with Product Development teams to support trim, packaging, and labeling needs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Communicate directly with factories and vendors to review artwork, resolve production issues, answer technical questions, and ensure accurate execution of approved designs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, production, sourcing, merchandising, and product development teams
  • Support the evolution of trims and packaging systems through thoughtful design execution and organization
  • Maintain consistency across branded product touchpoints, ensuring alignment with broader brand standards
  • Organize and maintain trim libraries, templates, production files, and asset systems
  • Adapt designs across varying garment categories, packaging formats, and production needs
  • Stay current on packaging trends, print techniques, materials, and emerging production technologies
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5+ years of experience in graphic design, trims, packaging, or production design within fashion, retail, or a related industry
  • Portfolio demonstrating advanced-level execution across trims, packaging, typography, production design, or branded product systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign
  • Expert-level understanding of typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, and production accuracy
  • Advanced knowledge of print production, dielines, packaging specifications, and garment labeling requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage detail-oriented, high-volume design workflows with precision
  • Experience preparing production-ready files for domestic and overseas vendors
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain structured file systems and asset libraries
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Advanced communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
