FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support a wide variety of technical and operational tasks within the Production Department in a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills, support advanced manufacturing processes, and grow your career in Smart Manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime
  • Assist internal and external users with equipment training, tool usage, and safe operation
  • Train staff on safety procedures and cleanroom protocols
  • Develop, write, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Train users on microfabrication and characterization equipment
  • Perform equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Provide safety oversight and operational support
  • Support microfabrication activities for funded projects
  • Other Duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with solid modeling, AutoCAD, and engineering materials/properties
  • 3+ years of experience in an SMT manufacturing environment preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an electronic assembly environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of ECR/ECN engineering processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
