Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Design, maintain, and improve electrical systems for manufacturing and packaging equipment. Support power distribution systems including MCCs, panels, switchgear, and transformers. Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime. Support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and industrial networks. Assist with equipment startups, commissioning, and validation. Partner with OEMs, integrators, and contractors on automation and capital projects. Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, GMP, and company safety standards. Participate in arc flash, LOTO, and electrical risk assessments. Lead or support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Create and maintain electrical drawings, standards, and documentation.
Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications Required
- Proficient in Rockwell and/or Siemens.
- Experience with PLC platforms, VFDs, and creating programs from scratch.
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution and control systems.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation systems.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and panel layouts.
Work Environment
The work environment involves hands-on interaction with advanced manufacturing and packaging equipment, requiring compliance with safety standards. The role demands interaction with various stakeholders, including OEMs, integrators, and contractors, ensuring a collaborative project-based setting. The position may require occasional travel to partner sites and adherence to all company safety and operational protocols.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
