Description

CP Flexible Packaging, in Bristol, PA is in immediate need of experienced Shipping Associate. Must be able to communicate with others, work as a team player and produce a quality product as efficiently as possible. 

Job Summary: The primary function of this position is to coordinate the communications & documentation associated with shipping and warehouse operations.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Complete pick ticket (shipment) processing and initiate customer invoicing

Prepare documents (packing list, BOL, etc...) for outbound shipments

o Includes direct to customer, 3P vendor, and interplant shipments

'Quality Control' and organization of shipping and receiving paper work

Expedite material needed for shipment with the production plant as needed.

Schedule out-bound carrier pick-ups as needed.

Serve as the warehouse point of contact for the Customer Support group

Schedule in-bound carrier delivery appointments with use of Outlook calendar

Entry of raw material film receipts & label printing

o for inbounds via ASN notification & 'direct' delivery to the warehouse

Entry of stock movements relating to film released and moving from plant to plant

  • Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP's) and any job or department specific SOP's.
    • SOP's may cover the areas of (but are not limited to)
      • Employee Health and Safety; AIB and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured; SGP (Sustainable Green Printer) environmental regulatory procedures and SOP's.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
 

Qualifications:

Experience operating a stand up forklift and reach truck are required

RF gun experience

General knowledge of shipping, receiving, & warehouse operations is preferred but not necessary

Basic computer knowledge & skills - Word, Excel, Outlook email, ERP software

Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, changing environment

Good communications skills.

Must be able to work well under sometimes stressful work conditions.

Physical Demands:

Intermittent walking in & between warehouse & production facilities

Working Conditions:

Steel toe shoes

AIB required PPE - safety glasses, hairnet, etc... in designated areas

Standard work hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday
