Job description

Job Description Summary

Manual and/or automated put up of all blister, form/fill/seal, hospital pack and allergist tray products. Associate will have a general knowledge of al packaging equipment which will enable safe operation of equipment through breaks, clearing jams, stopping and restarting machine as needed.

B Shift (6:20pm-6:30am)

Essential Responsibilities (included but are not limited to) :

  • Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis.

  • Must know lockout procedures as described in the corporate safety standard 13, plant lockout procedure and key interrupt.

  • Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams.

  • Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to:

  • discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents

  • checking packaging for correct count

  • checking for damage to syringes

  • checking for correct lot control numbers

  • inserting brochures as required

  • palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card

  • operating semi-auto tape machine

  • performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention

  • Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements.

  • Keep work area clean. Final clean up at end of shift.

  • Regular attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good interpersonal skills.
