Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Department: Shipping & Receiving
Classification: Non-exempt
Reports to: General Manager
Supervises: No
Work Location: Warehouse in Raleigh, NC
Job Summary: As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for helping maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, organizing and stocking operating supplies, and supporting the Shipping Team packaging and shipping hats.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Gather and remove cardboard from Packaging stations, operate baler to make cardboard bales.
  • Clean hats, build shipping boxes, and package customer orders.
  • Organize the warehouse space and remove trash when needed.
  • Support shipping and receiving areas when workload increases.
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages.
  • Organizing stock and maintaining operating supply inventory.
  • Removal of cardboard from workstations, make cardboard bales using baler
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements
Physical demands:
Walk and stand for long periods of time
Lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
Required Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent. Good attention to detail. Work effectively in a team environment.
Schedule: The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
