Position Description:  The position of Flower Packaging Technician primary responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately package cannabis flowers for distribution and sale along with trim and manicure cannabis plants to ensure the production of high-quality cannabis products. This will entail removing excess leaves, stems, and other unwanted plant material. You will play a crucial role in preparing the plants for further processing and packaging. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Packaging Responsibilities:Follow daily packaging schedules to achieve quality and efficiency goals.Ensure all tools, equipment, packaging, and labeling components are in good working order before each shift.Perform packaging, labeling, and data reporting with attention to quality, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.Safely operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain equipment (scales, radsource machine, grinder, shredder, bud sorter, knockbox) per SOPs.Maintain and update personal training documentation.Assist with various harvest and post-harvest tasks as needed. (including but not limited to: extraction bags, prerolls, radsource operations, sorting and trimming)Accurately operate weighing scales for product measurement.Crosstrain with packing and cultivation teams when required.Transport products to secure inventory areas, ensuring safety and compliance.Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and disposal, as outlined in SOPs and MSDS.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing tasks like sweeping, mopping, and cleaning.Ensure effective communication of tasks through shift changes and report any unsafe conditions to the Packaging Supervisor.Work flexible shifts to meet operational needs and contribute to process improvements.​​Qualifications and Education Requirements​:Excellent attention to detail and self-motivation for continuous learning and improvement.Strong mathematical skills (ability to perform basic arithmetic and work with units of measure).Proficient in computer programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and email.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and walking for extended periods.Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from manuals and safety data sheets.Must be 21+ years of age and comply with all company regulations.This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions.
