The Q.A. Inspector is responsible for determining if our products follow our Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) and meet established criteria for quality. Q.A. Inspectors will rotate through all production departments.
Responsibilities:
  • The Q.A, Inspector tests parts and assemblies using established procedures.
  • Follow established inspection methods and sampling plans, conduct testing and inspection in any department, including molding, assembly, distribution, and receiving.
  • The Q.A. Inspector enters inventory transactions.
  • Conduct all work promptly and with accuracy.
  • The Q.A. Inspector thoroughly documents data such as product non-conformances and inspection findings and clearly communicates results.
  • Standing for periods of time and moving on foot throughout the plant conducting inspections is required.
  • Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and documents
  • Basic math skills needed
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts and inspection experience not required but a strong plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work well without direct supervision
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Must be able to work 6 days per week

The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $18.00-$19.00 hourly
