Bulk Cheese Handler - Night Shift
Pay: $18.00 per Hour
Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Schedule: Rotating Shift - Every Other Weekend
We are hiring Bulk Cheese Handlers for a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This is a 12-hour night shift position working a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
Job Duties
  • Remove cheese from boxes and packaging.
  • Inspect, clean, weigh, measure, and prepare cheese for production.
  • Load cheese into machines and processing equipment.
  • Operate cutters, pallet trucks, and lifting equipment.
  • Keep production lines stocked to prevent downtime.
  • Pack and seal finished product and trim.
  • Use handheld scanners and complete production records.
  • Perform quality checks according to customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
  • Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and safety procedures.
  • Rotate between different Bulk Cheese Handler positions as needed.

Requirements
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work 6:00 PM-6:00 AM.
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
  • Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment of approximately 40-50ยฐF.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, carry, and perform repetitive physical work.
  • Ability to handle product weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
