Allied / Tech - Cath Lab Tech

Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, 40 scheduled hours. Start date within the next 3-5 weeks. Hours could slightly vary based on patient scheduling. Must be experienced in left/right heart cath, PCI, and peripheral procedures; device placement and renal cases also performed. Travel experience strongly preferred. Call 12-15 days a month. ARRT or RCIS accepted.

Job Requirements & Qualifications: Previous charge experience, 2 years of experience, certifications: ACLS, ARRT R*, BLS, CCI RCES*, CCI RCIS*, CET*. Skills: left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), perform EKG lead placement*, permanent pacemaker insertion (PPI), right heart catheterization, stent placement, temporary pacemaker, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, X-ray.

Travel Compliance: RTO resume and license in hand required with submittal. Certification verification, 2 years experience in service line required. Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana. Positive result is an automatic cancellation, no exceptions. Candidate should avoid anything that could result in a positive DS when they arrive onsite (including CBD products). Local radius: RN/LVN: 150 miles, Allied/CNA: 50 miles. Local rule: not accepted. Return traveler status. Previous perm staff must be gone 1 year in order to return as a traveler. Labs: clinicians must be available to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer or have a plan in place for completion in that timeframe. Charting: Altera experience preferred, not required. Travel experience preferred. Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start. May be flexible on a case-by-case basis if CL communicates pending docs/ETAs to facility contact by doc due date. Modules: modules are non-billable and factored in NBO, average 6-8 hours. Modules are completed during orientation.
