Job description

BayCare is looking for its newest Cardiac Cath Lab Tech in Lutz, FL. The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.
  • Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants)
  • Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure
  • On Call for Emergent Procedures

Licensure & Certification:
• BLS and ACLS is required
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
2) Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
3) Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR
4) 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR
5) RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
