🔥 HIGH-COMPENSATION CATH LAB / X-RAY TECH CONTRACT – TAMPA, FL

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly skilled, cross-trained Cath Lab / X-Ray Technologist to support an advanced endovascular surgical program. Operating within a large, high-volume 615-bed short-term acute care facility, this position handles a diverse daily census of 7 to 20 specialized cases. If you are a seasoned technologist with hybrid OR experience looking for a stable 4x10 day schedule, top-tier tax-free stipends, and an exceptional coastal contract, this assignment is built for you!

Please note: First-time travel technologists are proudly accepted if they meet the core hybrid endovascular experience requirements!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $2,556.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,596.00 (Maxed out GSA allowance)
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (06:30 AM - 17:00 PM). Block scheduling options may be discussed during your interview depending on department needs.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call & Weekend Requirements:
    • Weeknight Call: 1 to 2 days per week.
    • Weekend Call: 1 weekend per month on call.
    • Weekend Shifts: 1 scheduled weekend shift per month required.
  • EMR & Software Systems: Cerner charting experience is highly preferred. Xper Hemodynamic Monitoring System experience is a plus.
  • Clinical Scope & Case Mix: Serving vascular surgical patients receiving advanced endovascular procedures. Must have hands-on, independent competency in a hybrid OR setting supporting EVAR, TEVAR, aortograms, and peripheral runoffs. General caseload includes PCI, PTCA, left/right heart caths, Impella insertions, rotablator atherectomies, thrombectomies, and TAVR support.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Cath Lab/X-Ray Tech with proven, mandatory hybrid OR endovascular experience.
  • Licensure: Active Florida State License or valid Multi-State Compact License is required at the exact time of submittal.
  • Certifications Required: ARRT (R) registration, active AHA ACLS, and active AHA BLS are mandatory. CCI RCIS is highly preferred.
  • Competency Testing: Candidates must successfully pass a standard clinical EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted).
  • Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs.
