Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Analyzes orders, identifies incompatible option content, and makes recommendations to dealers/customers

  • Coordinates with product engineers and dealers, as necessary, to resolve incompatibilities.

  • Provides technical guidance for changes during pilot inspections and feedback related to technical information.

  • Helps implement and coordinate new programs

  • Manage projects for continuous improvement initiatives

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Attendance is an essential function of all positions

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical data

โ€ข Demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through

โ€ข Strong desire to learn new roles and activities within department

โ€ข Demonstrate and maintain high level of flexibility

โ€ข Strong knowledge of heavy duty trucks is preferred

โ€ข Must be detail oriented

โ€ข Must be capable of multi-tasking

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

โ€ข BS degree in Engineering or Technical field is preferred

โ€ข Three to five years of truck or automotive experience with demonstrated understanding of mechanical devices and manufacturing processes

โ€ข Two years of PACCAR experience is preferred.

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasks

โ€ข Familiarity of CICS system

โ€ข Proficient with Windows systems
