We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert in PVD and EB Evaporation: Utilize extensive knowledge in thin-film growth kinetics to adjust optical, structural, and mechanical properties for intricate multilayer stacks.
  • Technical Oversight of Vacuum Hardware: Manage turbo pumps, MFCs, and pressure controllers. Lead process change integration across PLCs and control interfaces to ensure exact tool matching.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Projects: Enhance and sustain high-volume manufacturing by improving recipe robustness and optimizing cycle time to lower the Cost of Ownership (COO).
  • Conduct In-Depth Root Cause Analysis: Lead RCA and FMEA for systemic yield issues. Use Pareto Analysis to ensure tool consistency and eliminate in-film defects.
  • Create Automated Process Health Monitors: Utilize Python, MATLAB, or JMP to maintain process health in high-volume production, addressing deviations and implementing corrective actions for consistent output.
  • Manage Equipment Procurement Lifecycle: Oversee the entire process from defining technical specifications and selecting vendors to final Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and high-volume manufacturing qualification.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with Process Integration, Quality, and R&D teams on new process qualifications and Process Change Notices (PCN).
  • Mentor and Develop Team: Guide process engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of technical excellence and data-driven decision-making.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Deposition Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Sputter Coating (DC, RF, Reactive) and EB Evaporation for metals, dielectrics, and oxides, with required hands-on experience.
  • Fab Experience: Demonstrated success in a Wafer Fab Manufacturing environment, supporting high-volume manufacturing toolsets and ensuring high uptime.
  • Statistical Methodology: Expert understanding of SPC, DOE, and FMEA for thorough process characterization and stability control.
  • Characterization Skills: Advanced proficiency in Ellipsometry, SEM-EDX, TEM, AFM, XPS, FIB, XRR, SAXS, FTIR, and Defect Metrology.
  • Analytical Tools: Utilize Python, MATLAB, JMP, or Minitab for data-driven decision-making and large-scale dataset analysis.
