About this Job The Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services/Network Communication Services has a student worker vacancy. The Division of Administration is the state government's management arm and the hub of its financial operations. Division offices perform a wide variety of activities including the following: Overseeing the state's capital construction program Working to provide state and federal grants for community development Development of the state budget Providing technology services Giving agencies guidance in the state purchasing and contracting process as they seek goods and services Administering a program that provides federal funds to help Louisiana residents recover from a series of devastating hurricane Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: 1.

Assisting project managers with legacy voice communications migrations. 2. State vehicle fleet maintenance responsibilities.

3. All other assigned duties and tasks. Position-Specific Details: Louisiana is a "State as a Model Employer" for People with Disabilities.

An applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the State, in a sufficient number of courses and classes in such institution to be classified as a full-time regular student under the criteria used by the institution in which they are enrolled. A full-time student retains their status during breaks, which occur in the course of or between session, including summer breaks. Pay will be hourly and based upon the student's major and classification within their program.

Student operators may be scheduled to work 15-25 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Background check, drug test and verification of enrollment from the educational institution will be required upon hire
