Description
  • Coordinate with Postsecondary Partnerships and Programs, Counseling Services, Academics and Transformation, and School Leadership to ensure integrated programs.
  • Align P-TECH/ECHS counseling department work with TEA-approved P-TECH/ECHS Pathways for Postsecondary Partnerships and Programs.
  • Collaborate weekly with P-TECH/ECHS administrators, counselors, and higher education partners to address the following:
  • Meeting district goals and P-TECH/ECHS Outcomes-Based-Measures.
  • Monitoring and tracking of collegiate students' progress toward an Associate Degree through the Personalized Pathway Manager, PowerBi, and other data-sharing tools.
  • Design, develop, and implement quality professional development experiences for P-TECH/ECHS counselors stemming from data trends that support and drive the academic development of collegiate students.
  • Improving the percentage of on-track students by completing program audits (as needed).
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education, Master's degree with Educational Leadership or Counseling Specialization.
  • Three to Five years of directly related experience.
  • Three or more years of school counselor experience and/or related work experience.
  • Experience with building high school master schedules and postsecondary pathways.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coach/train adults.
  • Ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
  • Ability to present information and data to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Possess background knowledge of the P-TECH/ECHS program and TEA Blueprint Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms.
