What You Will Enjoy Doing

Main Purpose of the Job:
Conducts and provides Warehousing services in a professional manner to assigned
departments with highest efficiency and accuracy.

  • Following shipment procedures
  • Ensures all shipment procedures are followed in accordance to customer
    requirements
  • Ensures all Forklift Operators are trained in procedures and follow them
  • Delegation and Coordination
  • Ensures all Fork Lift Operators know their work responsibilities
    • Proper Training of new hires
    • Areas of inventory knowledge
    • Inventory locations
    • Dock and Fork Lift/Clamp Truck Operations
    • Safety
    • Warehouse policies and procedures
    • Communication between other Warehouse Team Leads
    • Provides written and verbal communication to other team leads to
      provide coordinated efforts for highest department efficiency
  • Preparing finished product to ship to customer
  • Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking for
    damages as well as count)
  • Prints Bills of Lading
  • Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse

Must be able to drive yard tractor so as to move trailers to dock
