Ozark Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team at our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, monitoring patients, and collaborating with our healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic imaging services. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper adjustments and maintenance to guarantee accurate imaging results.
  • Monitor patients during MRI procedures, observing vital signs and providing immediate assistance when needed.
  • Administer contrast media as required, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Maintain detailed records of MRI procedures and patient information, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in quality control activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in MRI technology and best practices through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program, including required clinical hours.
