An Overwatch job typically refers to a role where an individual provides supervision, monitoring, or security oversight in various fields, such as military operations, esports, or corporate settings. In military or tactical contexts, it involves observing and providing support to ensure safety and effectiveness. In gaming or esports, an Overwatch role can relate to moderation, coaching, or administration. The exact responsibilities depend on the specific industry and context in which the term is used.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Overwatch position?

Familiarity with surveillance technologies such as CCTV systems, access control panels, and incident reporting software is typically required. Strong situational awareness, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial soft skills.
