Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver | Local & Regional | Heavy HaulPay: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (Hourly)SummaryND Energy Services is hiring a Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver to safely transport equipment, materials, and oversized loads to customer locations. This position operates flatbed trucks and commercial vehicles while ensuring all loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.We're looking for dependable, safety-focused commercial drivers who have experience with flatbed hauling, load securement, oversized loads, and equipment transportation. Previous heavy haul or oilfield transportation experience is a plus.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a Class A commercial tractor/trailer flatbed to transport equipment and materials.Load, transport, and unload equipment safely and efficiently.Properly secure cargo using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other approved load securement equipment.Verify loads are within legal weight limits and comply with all DOT and state regulations.Transport oversized and overweight loads while following required permits and routing requirements.Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns and report needed repairs.Maintain accurate trip documentation and required driver records.Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding deliveries, delays, and job status.Immediately report accidents, incidents, equipment damage, and safety concerns.Follow all company, customer, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and safety policies.Safely work in all weather conditions and at customer job sites.Perform additional transportation or operational duties as assigned.Required QualificationsValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Valid driver's licenseAbility to meet all DOT qualification requirementsClean driving record and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Ability to pass:Pre-employment drug and alcohol screeningRandom DOT drug and alcohol testingBackground checkMotor Vehicle Record reviewAbility to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding work.Reliable transportation to and from work.Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.Preferred QualificationsPrevious Flatbed CDL Driver experience preferredHeavy haul or oversized load experience preEquipment hauling experience preferredOilfield transportation experience preferredExperience with load securement and cargo safety regulationsKnowledge of state permitting requirements for oversized loadsKnowledge & SkillsKnowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulationsKnowledge of cargo securement requirementsUnderstanding of oversized load permits and routingSafe operation of commercial trucks and trailersStrong attention to detail and safetyAbility to inspect and identify equipment concernsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWork EnvironmentThis position primarily works outdoors and requires travel to customer locations and job sites.
