Are you a “hands-on” worker with a sharp attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to complete quality work in a timely manner? Fulcrum Lifting, LLC is looking for a wire rope fabricator. The successful candidate must read orders, prioritize work, and ensure the accurate and timely filling of orders for our customers. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses and benefits. We offer on-the-job training.
Fulcrum Lifting is a small family owned, full-service rigging shop that fabricates, distributes, services, and inspects rigging equipment. The company has thrived for over 40 years and has been successful due to the strong commitment to quality customer care which will be reflected in this role. Over half of our employees have been with the company for over 5 years. You will serve as a representative of the company, responding quickly to customers and company needs while safely and properly delivering and picking up materials as required.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reads order to determine stock needs
  • Lifts, measures, and moves items required for fabrication
  • Fabricate items as required per order from customers or from direction from manager
  • Pull items from inventory to complete orders
  • Package and prepare orders for shipping
  • Operate necessary shop equipment to fulfill orders
  • Load orders for delivery or customer pickup
  • Maintain a clean and safe work space
  • Other tasks and responsibilities based on business needs
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Must be able to read orders and fabricate items per customer or manager direction.
  • Must be able to multi-task and meet conflicting customer demands regularly.
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
