We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Network Installation Technician to install, configure, and support network infrastructure during overnight maintenance windows. This role is responsible for deploying network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling in customer environments while minimizing disruption to business operations.
The technician will follow installation plans, coordinate with remote engineering teams, and ensure all equipment is installed, tested, and documented according to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and rack network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and related hardware
  • Perform structured cabling installation and patching (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber where applicable)
  • Mount and secure equipment in racks, cabinets, and network closets
  • Follow installation diagrams, work orders, and engineering documentation
  • Label and organize cabling according to standards
  • Perform basic network connectivity testing and validation
  • Coordinate with remote engineers for configuration, troubleshooting, and verification
  • Document work completed including photos, serial numbers, and installation notes
  • Ensure installations meet safety, quality, and customer standards
  • Maintain tools and equipment required for network deployments
  • Communicate clearly with project managers and technical teams regarding project status
Work Schedule
  • Primarily overnight shifts to support customer maintenance windows
  • Typical hours may range from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM depending on project requirements
  • Some travel may be required depending on client locations
