Position Title: Floor Technician Driver (Part-time)Job Summary

The Floor Technician Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and operation of specialized floor care equipment across multiple facilities. This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and floor maintenance are consistently met, contributing to a safe and visually appealing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport floor care equipment and supplies to designated job sites using company vehicles
  • Execute floor maintenance procedures, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet extraction
  • Operate and maintain floor care machinery such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, and extractors
  • Adhere to safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment
  • Assist in relocating furniture and obstructions to access floor surfaces
  • Maintain accurate logs for mileage, equipment usage, and completed tasks
Additional Duties
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
  • Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on equipment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding service status and concerns
  • Ensure compliance with facility-specific standards and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred
  • Proficiency in operating floor maintenance equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and transport heavy equipment and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Conditions
  • Mobile role requiring travel between multiple locations
  • May include evening, weekend, or overnight shifts based on operational needs
  • Exposure to cleaning agents, noise, and physical labor
