Overnight Janitorial Floor Tech

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Janitorial Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of floor care equipment, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform floor care services including stripping, waxing, sealing, buffing, burnishing, and polishing
  • Clean and maintain various flooring types (VCT, tile, concrete, hardwood, carpet, etc.)
  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and extractors
  • Perform carpet cleaning and spot removal
  • Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
  • Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
  • Ensure assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
  • Work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications
  • Minimum [2+ years] experience in commercial floor care
  • Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and chemical usage
  • Experience operating professional floor equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to pass background check (if required)
