Job description

FivePine Lodge is seeking a Night Auditor / Overnight Security for our AAA 4 Diamond Property in Sisters, OR. We are a Trip Advisor Top in the Nation luxury lodge with award winning service and we are looking for someone who will thrive in a service minded, self-directed, empowered environment.


As a Night Auditor (10:30pm-7am) at FivePine Lodge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our lodge during nighttime hours. This unique position combines guest services, financial oversight, security and an 'on-call' opportunity to rest or engage in personal hobbies during certain hours. If you are self motivated, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to guest satisfaction , we invite you to apply for this position. Typical Shift Outline (times & duties can vary depending on day of property/guest needs):

Guest Services and Security - 10:30pm - 1am

  • Welcome and process guest arrival paperwork and payments correctly
  • Answer guest inquiries and provide information about lodge amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Manage phone reservations and inquiries
  • Maintain safety and security of guests and the property as the overnight on-site representative

'On-Call' - 1am - 5am (not guaranteed, varies depending on work load and property needs)

  • Remain on the lodge property and be reachable during this time
  • Utilize the provided night audit quarters to rest, study, or pursue personal hobbies
  • Respond promptly to any guest needs or emergencies that may arise during this period

Property Maintenance and Financial Oversight - 5am-7am

  • Patrol property to ensure safety and security and inform maintenance of snow levels/property needs
  • Assist with snow and ice removal when necessary
  • Review and reconcile daily financial transitions to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting
  • Collaborate with the lodge manager and accounting department as needed
  • Debrief the 7am Front Desk Agent


Critical Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Act with integrity and honesty in accordance with FivePine's vision and mission statement in all circumstances.
  • Demonstrate responsible behavior through punctuality, professionalism, reliability, and courteous communication.
  • Understand and carry out the instructions of your supervisor including in the assignment of additional tasks or duties.
  • Maintain a professional manner under stress.
  • Run and balance all daily reports for the lodge from innRoad hospitality software.
  • Answer phones professionally.
  • Resolve guest issues as they arise: TV/DVD problems, key cards not working, more towels needed, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work alone overnight to insure property and guest safety and security.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting operations including the ability to post and balance charges accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software.
  • Ability to make reservations, check guests in/out and provide concierge information.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in guest services or hospitality (Preferred but not required).
  • Willing and able to commute to Sisters year round.
  • Maintain valid OLCC and Food Handlers cards.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to lift/carry/pull/push up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours including bending, squatting, and/or kneeling.
  • Ability to go up and down stairs.


Schedule:
10:30 pm - 7:00am.

  • Part time schedule (3 nights/week on average)
  • Availability to increase hours or fill in when needed


Pay:

  • Starting wage of $18.50/hr and up based on experience
