Job description

A Jersey City community is looking for a motivated and hardworking employee to oversee a Luxury Community of Several High Rise buildings and its community streets.

We are looking for a full-time/ person to fill the overnight position. (11:00pm-07:00am)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the surveillance cameras for multiple Hi-Rise Luxury Buildings and surrounding Community Streets
  • Secure premises by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
  • Troubleshoot surveillance camera issues should they arise
  • Escalate any situation that arises to the appropriate person and/or 911 Emergency
  • Enforce establishment regulations
  • Reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Act as overnight fire safety officer

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position, such as a First Responder
  • Comfortability with software including ButterflyMx, Avigilon VMS, Gsuite, and Access Control
  • High school degree and proficiency in English
  • Surveillance skills and details orientation
  • Physical Requirement: Ability to jog fast or run in the case of an emergency

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
