? Job Description: Care Assistant - Bank Nights (Clerical/Admin Support)

This role is for a highly organized and compassionate individual to provide essential administrative, clerical, and logistical support to the care team on a bank (as-needed) basis during night shifts.

? Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support:

    • Maintain and update patient/resident records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality ($HIPAA$/$GDPR$ compliance).

    • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and faxes, and relaying critical information to clinical staff.

    • Perform data entry, filing, and preparation of documents for the care team.

  • Logistical Coordination:

    • Assist in coordinating appointments, transport, or essential supply restocking during the night.

    • Monitor and manage staff sign-in/out records and shift handover documentation.

    • Ensure the smooth operation of the ward/unit by monitoring general cleanliness and organization of common administrative areas.

  • Patient/Resident Liaison (Non-Clinical):

    • Act as the first point of contact for non-clinical patient or family queries during the night.

    • Provide comfort and reassurance by maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

    • Escalate any urgent clinical or welfare concerns immediately to the Registered Nurse or appropriate senior staff.
