$22–$27/hr base + commissions and performance bonuses. Total earning potential $25–$40/hr ($50K–$120K+/year). Paid IICRC certification. Full-time year-round work in Mountlake Terrace, WA. No experience needed — we pay you to train.

About the Role

Alpine Specialty Services has been a family-owned specialty cleaning company in the Puget Sound since 1969. We are hiring full-time Carpet & Tile Cleaning Technicians to run our truck-mounted equipment in homes and commercial properties across the Seattle area. This is a skilled trade with a structured advancement path — most of our supervisors came up from tech roles.

Pay & Earning Potential

  • $22–$27 per hour base pay to start (experience-based)
  • Commissions and performance bonuses on top of base pay
  • Total earning potential of $25–$40+ per hour
  • Full-time, year-round work
  • Paid training and a clear advancement path

Tiered Annual Earnings (based on experience and performance)

  • Entry-level technicians (year 1): typical $50,000–$70,000
  • Experienced technicians: $70,000–$95,000
  • Senior technicians (top performers): $120,000+ annually

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, five-day work week, year-round
  • Day shift; routes are local (no overnight travel)
  • Occasional Saturday rotations during peak season
  • Overtime available during peak season

What You will Do

  • Perform professional carpet, tile, grout, and upholstery cleaning using truck-mounted systems
  • Pre-spray, agitate, extract, and finish carpets to Alpine standards
  • Walk customers through the work, confirm scope, and write up the job on site
  • Communicate clearly with customers and find legitimate add-on services (no pressure sales)
  • Maintain high standards for workmanship and customer experience

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Washington driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • Reliable transportation to our Mountlake Terrace shop
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools
  • Strong work ethic and customer-service orientation
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and move equipment in and out of homes (we will show you how on day one)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Carpet cleaning, restoration, or related field-service experience
  • IICRC familiarity (training provided and paid for)
  • Customer-facing service experience
