Join Arbor Day Farm as a Cook and help create meaningful guest experiences while advancing the Foundation's mission right here in Nebraska City.
Your Support System: You'll report to our Executive Chef.
You'll collaborate with leaders and team members across the property, including Timbers and Banquets.

How We Work: Location: Nebraska City, Nebraska - Arbor Day Farm Campus
Schedule: Full-Time; Flexible morning shift
Our campus is guest-centered and hospitality-driven. Many roles require flexibility to support weddings, conferences, seasonal festivals, and signature events. We work hard, support each other, and believe if we're going to do something - it's worth doing well.
What You'll Do:
  • Be a part of a fast-paced work environment. Ability to stay organized and on task to keep up with high demand when busy.
  • Cook menu items and sauté special items. Cook foods made to order in an efficient manner. Keep a clean and tidy working space.
  • Gain experience from an upscale restaurant. Receive training opportunities to advance throughout the kitchen.
  • Work as a team. Be a part of helping us create a fun work environment with teamwork at the forefront to ensure a positive experience for guests.

What You'll Bring:
  • Passion for hospitality, service, and the Foundation's mission.
  • A love for food and cooking.
  • Cooking Experience. Have at least 1 year of line cook experience. At least 17 years old.
  • A creative and learning driven mindset.
  • Team-first mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to high standards - because good enough is not good enough.
