About the Opportunity

Matthew Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-established Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) group to identify two full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join their clinical team across two Metro Detroitlocations. Our client operates ASC locations in Troy, MI, and Macomb Township, MI, and is growing its anesthesia coverage to support an expanding surgical case volume across specialties.

Position Summary

The CRNA will provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures across theclient's two Ambulatory Surgery Center locations in Troy, MI, and Macomb Township, MI. This role involves pre-operative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-anesthesia care in collaboration with the surgical and anesthesiology care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures
  • Continuously monitor patients' physiological status throughout procedures and respond promptly to any changes
  • Manage post-anesthesia recovery and ensure safe discharge readiness in accordance with ASC protocols
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists (as applicable under the practice's care model), RNs, and surgical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Adhere to all ASC, state, and federal regulatory and safety standards, including infection control and medication management protocols
  • Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
  • Provide coverage across both the Troy and Macomb Township ASC locations as scheduled

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Active, unrestricted Michigan RN and CRNA license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS a plus
  • Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or outpatient surgical setting strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care model
  • Ability to travel between the client's Troy and Macomb Township locations as needed

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time position(s), 2 openings
  • Coverage across two Ambulatory Surgery Center locations: Troy, MI, and Macomb Township, MI
  • Typical outpatient ASC schedule (no overnight call/weekends in most ASC settings — final schedule details provided upon interview)
