About the Role
As a Summer Camp Counselor for our Pre-K and Kindergarten group, you'll lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning, play, and social-emotional growth. You'll help create a safe and joyful summer experience while working closely with the camp team and families to ensure each camper has a positive, enriching experience.
You will also:
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers throughout the day
  • Lead planned activities and transitions based on a daily schedule
  • Maintain camper accountability with frequent headcounts and attention to individual needs
  • Support arrival and dismissal procedures
  • Serve as a positive role model through professional conduct and enthusiasm
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, campers, and team members
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting; supervisory experience preferred
  • Familiarity with a camp or similar group activity environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage and work effectively with children and team members
  • Ability to plan, organize, and lead camp activities and games
  • Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor
