Description
We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a growing distribution and logistics facility in North Memphis. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Candidates must have extensive sit-down forklift experience and be comfortable working a rotating schedule that includes both day and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
  • Transport inventory throughout the facility while maintaining accuracy.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.
  • Follow all OSHA, company, and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control and material tracking.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors.
Requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of recent sit-down forklift experience.
  • Must possess a valid forklift certification/license for operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Proven ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Stable work history with strong attendance and reliability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 12-hour shift.
  • Must be willing to work a rotating schedule, including overnight shifts.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
