Job description

Nocturnist Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity

United Health Services Medical Group, a progressive 600+ provider multispecialty group, has an opportunity for a residency-trained internal medicine physician to practice as a nocturnist in a regional level II trauma center. The group is affiliated with United Health Services Hospitals, the community's regional leader in healthcare. Teaching opportunities are available with the residents and fellows, as well as the medical students on rotation from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. An academic appointment at Upstate Medical University, as well as the ability to participate in basic and clinical research.

Our team of physicians enjoys a work schedule that allows a comfortable balance between delivery of patient care and time off. New physicians are provided a mentor to assist in the transition into a new position.

The hospitalist program also has an opportunity for a residency-trained, board-certified/board-eligible, internal medicine physician to practice as a nocturnist or a hospitalist in a 500+ bed, regional level II trauma center. In this role, the candidate will work up new admissions during overnight hours, respond to emergencies and consultation requests for other specialties. Procedures are not required.

The employment offer includes market-competitive compensation in the $350,967 to $386,910 range. A highly competitive signing bonus, annual incentive bonuses and a vast array of employment benefits, including a robust retirement plan.
