What You'll Do

  • Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, and hydraulic teams to integrate foundation and approach-roadway solutions.
  • Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction to ensure design intent.
  • Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in analysis, detailing, and quality control.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of bridge or structural engineering experience (PE or on track within one year).
  • Proficiency with AASHTO LRFD, MicroStation or AutoCAD, and bridge design software such as LEAP, CSiBridge, or STAAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client meetings and technical reports.
  • Ability to reside in South Carolina and make occasional day trips to project sites statewide (overnight travel is rare).
