Neuro Diagnostics - Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech
4-week Polysomnographer/Sleep Technologist assignment working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every weekend required. The Sleep Tech will independently monitor patients during overnight sleep studies, maintaining 1:1 and 2:1 patient-to-technologist ratios. The role focuses on acquiring high-quality diagnostic data, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and providing education throughout the sleep study process. No floating is required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Polysomnography/Sleep Tech experience (3–5 years preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree or CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program preferred
- Experience with sleep study scoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, and mask fitting
- Strong patient education and bedside communication skills
- Previous travel and teaching hospital experience preferred but not required
- Reliable personal transportation required
