Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and credentialed Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) for a contract opportunity at a respected healthcare facility in Albany, Oregon. The Sleep Technologist will perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing, monitor and record polysomnographic (PSG) studies, and assist in the diagnostic evaluation of sleep-related disorders. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient preparation and setup for overnight sleep studies.
- Conduct and monitor polysomnographic (PSG) testing and video recordings.
- Accurately document and record patient sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation.
- Administer sleep-related medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient safety and respond appropriately to clinical situations.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, Sleep Lab leadership, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and documentation standards.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved program or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in:
- Polysomnography
- Neurodiagnostics
- Respiratory Therapy
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Active Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License (required at submission)
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential through BRPT
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Active state licensure in good standing.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as scheduled.
