Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with strong expertise in modern Shopify development and the ability to lead end-to-end eCommerce implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow, Online Store 2.0, Liquid, JavaScript, REST APIs, and GraphQL, along with a solid understanding of the latest Shopify platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and architect Shopify implementations from scratch.
  • Develop and customize Shopify themes, storefronts, and extensions.
  • Build and maintain Shopify apps, integrations, and custom functionalities.
  • Work with Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow, and Storefront API.
  • Integrate third-party services using REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Optimize storefront performance, security, and user experience.
  • Manage source code using Git and follow deployment best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth releases.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for deployment and hosting where applicable.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Shopify development and Shopify Admin.
  • Expertise in Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow, Online Store 2.0, and Liquid.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and Shopify app/extension development.
  • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD/deployment concepts.
  • Good understanding of Shopify performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead a development team.
