Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise software applications using modern software engineering and Secure Software Development (SecDevOps) practices.
  • Develop full-stack applications using ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, Java, Python, and other modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain relational database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and other enterprise database technologies.
  • Develop and maintain applications leveraging enterprise platforms including SharePoint and ServiceNow.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures supporting distributed enterprise applications.
  • Develop cloud-ready and containerized applications utilizing Docker and container orchestration platforms.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize Dockerfiles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) components supporting application deployment and container lifecycle management.
  • Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain self-hosted artifact repositories including Artifactory, Nexus Repository, NuGet, or similar repository management solutions.
  • Apply secure coding standards, vulnerability remediation, code scanning, and software supply chain security throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers, systems administrators, architects, cybersecurity personnel, and product owners to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, design sessions, and technical planning activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, database, and application integration issues.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, regression, and performance tests.
  • Produce technical documentation, system design documentation, API documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote software engineering best practices across development teams.
  • Support Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Active Top Security Clearance 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience designing and developing enterprise applications.
  • Extensive experience developing applications using:
      • ASP.NET Core
      • .NET Framework
      • C#
      • Java
    • Python
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
  • Experience developing applications using SharePoint and/or ServiceNow platforms.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and enterprise web services.
  • Experience developing applications for containerized environments using Docker.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Dockerfiles and container build configurations.
  • Experience developing and supporting microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience implementing Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining artifact repositories including:
      • Artifactory
      • Nexus Repository
    • NuGet
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and software architecture principles.
  • Experience performing code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
