Job description


Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an overnight quality technician position at a manufacturing company in Walden NY. Day and overnight shifts are available. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 9 p.m.-5 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for quality, food packaging safety and other requirements
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
  • Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material
  • Maintain other sample requirements as defined
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect privacy of confidential/sensitive information
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics
  • 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams and Outlook
  • Prior quality experience utilizing testing equipment strongly preferred
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and well-organized
  • Able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options
  • Comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings
