Overview
Job Purpose
The Analyst, Trading Operations, Digital Assets serves as a first-line support specialist for NYSE Group's affiliated Digital Asset ATS (pending regulatory approvals) and Global OTC ATS. In this operationally critical role, the analyst monitors trading activity, identifies and escalates issues, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted trading operations across both platforms. The role requires a motivated self-starter comfortable with non-traditional hours, blockchain-based trade infrastructure, and the evolving regulatory landscape for digital asset securities.
Responsibilities
  • Daily operations and support
    • Provide real-time trading operational support for NYSE Group's affiliated Digital ATS and Global OTC ATS.
    • Monitor trading activity, system performance, and order flow across both platforms
    • Execute daily checkout procedures and maintain accurate electronic logs of trading issues, disputes, and resolutions.
    • Assist participant firms with inquiries related to order types, trading functionality, and settlement status.
    • Support bust/cancel determinations, clearly erroneous execution (CEE) reviews, and error account escalations in coordination with compliance and legal teams.
  • Shift coverage
    • Primary shift: overnight and weekend coverage aligned with NYSE Group's affiliated Digital Asset ATS's extended trading hours. Specific schedule, including holiday coverage, to be confirmed based on team rotation.
  • Collaboration and communication
    • Partner with Technology, Product Management, and Compliance to onboard participants and resolve technical or operational issues.
    • Coordinate with compliance and outside counsel on regulatory matters, including trade reporting and ATS obligations.
    • Escalate production issues to System Operations and Engineering, with clear and timely communication to internal stakeholders.
    • Disseminate platform status updates and operational notices in a timely manner.
    • Support process documentation, post-incident reviews, and continuous operational improvement initiatives.
    • Develop deep working knowledge of NYSE Group's affiliated Digital Asset ATS platform architecture, Global OTC ATS workflows, and relevant FINRA/SEC regulatory requirements.

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of experience in a trading environment, including exchange operations, broker-dealer trading operations, or an alternative trading system (ATS).
  • Familiarity with digital asset markets, tokenized securities, or blockchain-based settlement infrastructure is a strong plus.
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license required; Series 57 or Series 24 a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; SQL experience for issue investigation is a plus.
  • Comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts in a 24/7 trading environment.
  • This position is remote-eligible; employees within commutable distance of a company office will be required to report onsite for training and periodically thereafter.

Schedule
Overnight, weekend shifts, and occasional holidays; specific hours to be confirmed. Role is part of a rotating team providing continuous coverage for NYSE Group's affiliated Digital Asset ATS and Global OTC ATS operations.
