Overnight Hospice Registered Nurse 5PM to 8AM

Per-visit pay, weeknight schedule.

LilyCare Hospice is a community-based hospice serving patients and families across central New Mexico. We focus on comfort, dignity, and personalized end-of-life care delivered wherever patients call home. As a growing agency, we keep caseloads manageable and our nurses well supported. LilyCare Hospice is seeking an On Call Hospice Registered Nurse 5PM to 8AM to cover our patients overnight across central New Mexico.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • As our On Call Hospice Registered Nurse, respond to after-hours calls and triage patient and family needs from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM

  • Make in-home visits as needed for symptom and pain management, comfort care, and crisis response

  • Complete hospice admissions and pronouncements as needed during on-call hours

  • Coordinate care and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team and on-call physician

  • Document each call and visit accurately in the electronic health record per hospice requirements

Compensation and Schedule

  • $65–$150 per visit based on visit type

  • On call overnight, Monday - Thursday 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM

  • Field-based coverage across your assigned New Mexico territory

Skills and Qualifications

  • The ideal Hospice Registered Nurse holds an active New Mexico RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted)

  • Current AHA BLS/CPR certification

  • Hospice or home care experience preferred; comfortable working autonomously on call overnight

  • Strong end-of-life symptom management and assessment skills

  • Valid NM driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle for home visits
