What You'll Do

Registered Nurses at Newport Healthcare provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and/or young adults in our treatment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditions
  • Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MD
  • Serving as a vital part of your patients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams
  • Administering medications and ordering medication refills
  • Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state where you are applying (required)
  • Experience in residential nursing (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to make good decisions based your analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
