Job description

Where Pediatric Care Meets Purpose
At BrightStar Care of Lubbock, pediatrics isn't just a department-it's the heart of what we do.
For over 15 years, we've supported children in achieving their fullest potential in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by their families.
Our RNs are a critical part of that mission-providing skilled, compassionate care that makes a real difference every shift.
If you're a nurse who connects deeply with pediatric patients and wants more meaningful one-on-one care, this role is worth a closer look.
We'd love to know: Why did you become a nurse?
What You'll Do
  • Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their home setting
  • Support daily clinical needs and care plan goals
  • Work closely with families to promote safety, comfort, and participation in daily life
  • Build ongoing relationships with patients through consistent assignments
  • Float through different homes to find the best match for your skills and preferences
Schedule & Pay
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night shift availability 7 days/week)
  • $30-$35 per hour based on experience
  • Night differential pay for overnight shifts
  • Weekly pay
  • Lubbock, TX
What We're Looking For
  • Active RN license in Texas
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience
  • Pediatric home health or private duty experience preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Genuine passion for pediatric care
What You'll Gain
  • Locally owned, supportive team environment
  • Faith-based culture focused on compassion and service
  • One-on-one patient care (no facility overload)
  • Flexible scheduling options (PRN, part-time, full-time)
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (based on hours)
  • 24/7 clinical and operational support
  • Ongoing training and professional growth
  • Recognition programs that actually value your work
